According to new discoveries, the release date for GTA 6 first teaser was leaked months ago via a weird item of apparel on GTA Online. A distinctive t-shirt arose as a mystery indicator in the dynamic world of GTA Online, where players are treated to regular updates offering new missions, vehicles, events, and costumes. This particular outfit was given to players who were abducted by aliens during a Sightseeing event in late October.
This clothing, referred to simply as the '??? Tee' within the game, briefly appeared in the June update before being temporarily withdrawn until the October event, included a variety of symbols and seemingly arbitrary numbers interwoven into its appearance.
PCGamesN reported in June that savvy users have decoded the numerals on the shirt, exposing the cryptic statement "ONEDAYWILLREVEALALL." Although the code appeared confusing at first, a Twitter user named @Dyllie, who was later highlighted by YouTuber LegacyKillaHD, pointed out that a GTA Forums user had hinted at the inclusion of a date within the code.
Drawing attention to the sequence "12523" encoded in the numbers, speculation developed that this could be a reference to December 5, 2023, which was later confirmed by Rockstar Games last week. The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will be released on Tuesday, December 5, at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. GMT.
This news comes after Rockstar Games had confirmed in February 2022 that active production for the next Grand Theft Auto game was well underway. While details regarding the game remained scant, a massive data breach in September 2022 gave gamers an unexpected insight into the production process, revealing almost an hour of GTA 6 footage and providing a teasing preview of the sequel to one of the best-selling games of all time.
