Fans of the anything anticipated Spider-Man 2 will be happy to know that Insomniac Games intends to add a New Game Plus mode and a mission replay option after the game's launch. In a recent Twitter conversation with fans, Insomniac's director of community and marketing, James Stevenson, disclosed these exciting additions.
The mission replay function and New Game Plus mode won't be available on launch day, but Stevenson reassured users that they are currently working on an update to add these new features. He said, "We’re working on an update for those features, but they won’t be in Day 1." He went on to say, "Should be before the end of the year," which raised interest among Spider-Man supporters.
This Friday, October 20, Spider-Man 2 will only be available on the PlayStation 5. Those that purchase physical copies of the game have been given excellent advice by Insomniac Games, who advises them to download the launch day update.
The studio stated that the day one patch would include "notable enhancements" made to the game since it achieved gold status last month, even though the disc-based version will be playable right out of the box without any required patches or online connections. Insomniac highlighted that this update would improve the game's opening patterns, offer new accessibility options, and make other improvements to the overall Spider-Man experience.
After the review block on Spider-Man 2 was lifted on Monday reviews for the game have been highly favourable, launching it to the top of Insomniac's list of highest-rated titles. Marvel Spider-Man 2 is an exceptionally confident sequel and one of 2023's best games.
When the new PS5 Slim console launches in the United States next month, Spider-Man 2 is reportedly included. As if the game's nearing release wasn't exciting enough already. Fans eager to read about everyone's favourite friendly local superhero's most recent adventures will find it much more appealing to imagine themselves swinging through the streets of New York City as the web-slinger as a result.
