A new teaser for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has debuted ahead of schedule, confirming the game's official release date.

The teaser, which is presently available on the PlayStation Store page for the much awaited remake, indicates that the game will be released on August 28, 2025. It also mentions that the game will be improved for the PlayStation 5 Pro.

The teaser also confirms the return of Snake vs. Monkey, a mini-game previously featured in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

It is believed that the trailer was intended for Sony's planned State of Play event, which has yet to be confirmed.

Another important detail disclosed is the game's adaptive difficulty system, which changes depending on the player's chosen perspective. Players can choose between the modern third-person camera, comparable to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and the fixed camera perspective from the original PlayStation 2 edition.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's improvements work to modernize the iconic classic while keeping its basic gameplay characteristics.
