Bethesda much-anticipated Starfield expansion, titled "Shattered Space," is set to release this fall, according to the game's director, Todd Howard. In a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games on Monday, Howard revealed details about the planned DLC as well as a variety of new features coming to the game.

Howard stated,

"We're aiming for Shattered Space to drop in the fall, but before that, we have a substantial update lined up for Starfield. We've revamped the map system entirely, introducing some exciting city map elements."

The Shattered Space addition was announced prior to Starfield release in September, and it is included with the game's premium edition. Bethesda had earlier announced in December that Shattered Space, its "first major expansion coming next year," will include "fresh story content, unexplored locations, new equipment, and much more."

Furthermore, Bethesda intends to release important new features and bug patches for Starfield every six weeks, providing a dynamic and immersive gameplay experience for gamers.

Howard hinted about the upcoming upgrade, saying,

"The upcoming update, which we'll announce later this week and roll out on Steam beta shortly after, brings some exciting additions to ship building."

Expanding on Bethesda's future plans, Howard stated that the business is open to partnering with external developers on prospective projects in order to innovate and enhance its creative output.

As the excitement for Starfield impending expansion and improvements grows, fans are ready for more details and insights into the game's ever-expanding universe.
